Bend families depend on natural gas to power their homes affordably, safely, and reliably.

As we’ve seen over the last few years, natural gas is a reliable energy source when we are facing extreme weather like ice storms and powerful winds. According to the City of Bend’s own data, eliminating natural gas won’t even reduce carbon emissions in the near term, and in some cases may increase emissions.

Be a Voice for Energy Choice

Send a message to the City Council, urging them not to phase out natural gas from new home construction and to oppose new fees and taxes.

Tell city leaders that Bend doesn’t want a new gas tax that will drive up housing costs and energy prices!
